Tolles Buch, sehr witzig geschrieben, wenn man den englischen Humor mag. Ein Buch über das Leben, die Liebe und vorallen Dingen die Freundschaft. Ich liebe es, wie sie über Freundschaft spricht. Einfach toll. Zu empfehlen.

The stories Dolly tells made me weep and made me laugh and smile. I had to put this book aside at times because it was too intense going through the rough patches of Dolly's life with her, other times I could not put it down. This unique account of her life is so honest, so human, the reader can go on her journey through love and gather experience with her.

Deeply moving, hilariously funny... loved it!

Ich lese das Buch auf Englisch statt auf Deutsch und versuche so wenig wie möglich nachzuschlagen. Lässt sich meist auch leicht verstehen. Dennoch gefällt mir persönlich der Schreibstil nicht übermäßig und ich finde die Handlung alles in Allem langweiliger, als ich nach dem Lesen vieler Rezensionen dachte.
